Laura Plays Games...The Blog?

Well, I am so retro now I have my own website I guess?  I wanted to start this blog because I read "This is for everyone" by Tim Berners-Lee (the inventor of the internet) and it made me nostalgic for old website and blogs. I will mainly be talking about my gaming on here (obviously) but possibly go off on side notes about my reading and other hobbies.

This week I have been trying out Pokopia on my new Switch2, but I haven't got on with it that well to be honest. I think it is just a bit too messy for me in the beginning and because it's a borrowed game (and not one I spent my own, hard-earned, money on) I don't feel inclined to push through until I enjoy it. I know a lot of people have really enjoyed it though and see so many amazing looking areas that people have made on it. I just don't think I have the urge to keep going to that point. Also I have only played it for a couple of hours and I can already see problems with the storage system and I always find limited storage SUPER frustrating.

I re-started Pokemon Legends Arceus this morning as I was still craving a cozy pokemon adventure. I played a tiny bit of this years ago but the hour or so I put in before I got out of bed is already way better than Pokopia for me!

Anyway, this is just my first blog post, but I will hopefully be treating this as something of a gaming journal moving forward so if this is interesting to you, say Hi in the comments!
